Anyone else having trouble pricing Envoy on usair.com? Here I am trying to spend a few thou on a ticket, and I can't even do it.

Aren't you a college student? A few thousand for an envoy ticket is pretty impressive for a student! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Try going under the "more options" button on the front page and then selecting the "envoy" tab under "class of service". You can price dates there.

First of all, way to remember. Yes I am in college. If only I put as much time into school as I put into travelling...
Secondly, my ticket is being paid for by a third party.
Third, I've done all that, and it says that Envoy is sold out and they're picking coach for me. When I do try to price something, it says there's been an error and I need to start over.

call them..don't try and book it online..their website isn't really set up to sell premium tickets online and I'm sure they don't sell a lot of them by that method.

I agree, except I would add that Im not sure their web site is set up to sell anything online. Call them.

Donīt call them call a Travel Agent with a decent negotiated fare or a decent C fare - should work at around 2,000 - 2,700 $. Or try buying ex Europe, which may be cheaper, too

One other comment/word of warning about the 'envoy sold out - we are selecting coach instead' warning.

The US website does a lousy job at showing abbreviations. It puts all of the possible abbreviations on a set of flights at the top of the page. ( It uses asterisks, + signs, etc.) However it then just lists the legends at the tops with little explanation that they may or may not apply to flights below in the list.

I backed away from booking several envoy tickets - thinking they were sold out - until I realized that I had to squint hard to see which flights had the tiny * next to them that were in fact sold out.

its a ridiculously poor web implementation for a premium product. I know we cant be the only 2 people to have ever been confused.

Interestingly, from Orbitz - $5322 with Lufthansa codesharing on US metal. $6275 ticketed as US.

Why not fly UA non-stop and avoid the connection and filthy 767. With a C ticket you are first in line to get bumped to F. It happened to my seatmate FRA-IAD a couple of weeks ago. It also happened to me LHR-IAD last summer.

You get the same miles for your US account.
