I am flying up to LGA on from DCA on the shuttle and have a friend who is flying into LGA from Denver on UA. We are arriving at the same time and want to drive together from LGA.

Where is the best and easiest place to meet up with a UA passenger?

If your friend isn't traveling with alot of luggage it's probably easier for them to meet you at the US shuttle baggage area. It's much less congested. They would take the Route B bus from the central terminal and get dropped off at the US shuttle area. It's quick and painless.

Thanks Vector. I think that will work well.

US and UA run a shuttle bus between terminals. Leaves from US gate 2. Not sure about the UA end of it.

Where is the car or what kind of car are you using?
If you have your car at the airport and have parked at the US shuttle lot, it would make sense for him to bus over and meet you at the US shuttle terminal.
A good, maybe better, alternative would be for you to park off site at the likes of Avistar, then each of you could take the parking lot bus and meet out there.
The other scenario is that if you are renting a car, the two of you simply meet at the rental company's office.
