Yes you will be able to use the club. Just show your envoy ticket when you enter and you will also get drink coupons.

You get lounge access even on an award ticket. In PHL there is a dedicated Envoy lounge.

Make sure you use the Envoy Lounge in the A-West terminal. It is on the left as you enter. They have fresh fruit and vegetables, sandwiches, and drinks if you head all the way down to the left side.

thanks and your answers are just as i thought, but here is what i just received from usairways:
In response to your email, in order to have access to the US Airways club
facilities you will need to have a full paid Envoy ticket.
Unfortunately, traveling on an award ticket will not allow access to the club
facilities.

Is she differentiating between the Envoy Lounge and the US Airways Club?

That's strange. I just used the Envoy Lounge on 11/8 with a coach fare (but used miles to upgrade to Envoy). When I inquired at check-in as to getting to the Lounge, the agent told me that all I needed was to show them my ticket to get into the Envoy Lounge (which I did with no problems). The agent at the Lounge did not "study" my ticket nor do I think it says anywhere on the ticket that I was an upgraded coach ticket. I think you'll be fine.
Please note in PHL the Envoy Lounge is on the left and the Club Lounge is on the right (2 separate areas but probably the same amenities).
What???? I hope this person didn't know the rules cause that would suck badly... I used the Envoy lounge and any otehr Us Air Club for that matter whenever I am upgraded to Envoy, and that is actually pretty nice to be able to do so!
My SO and I have flown from PHL to various points in Europe on envoy award tickets and we have always been granted access to the envoy lounge.
If the response you got from US is correct, this is a new policy and a definite change for the worse.

She must be, I have used the Envoy lounge on more than one occation on an upgraded ticket. And a family member has used it on an award ticket.
If they are not differentiating then this is BS, if I burn 80K miles on an envoy ticket I expect to be treated like I paid for it, since I did pay for it.

This would be absolute dog doo.
We burned 160,000 for two envoy tickets and got access to the club at DCA, the departure lounge at PHL, and the arrivals lounge at LGW.
i'll report this saturday, as I am flying to CDG on envoy, if I get the upgrade, which should loud good... I was planning to take a shower at le Salon BLeriot since after my flight I am going straight to Normandy.
Guys let's keep our finger crossed, and knock on wood!

Just got back from LGW-CLT-ROC-PHL-LGW. Entire itinerary was in Envoy/First. Paid for coach tickets, used the certificates I got for silver to upgrade.
On each leg, once I had a confirmed boarding pass for First/Envoy, I was able to use the US lounge.
Once I had my Envoy boarding pass, I was able to use the lounge at LGW and the Envoy lounge in PHL. I was also able to use the Arrivals lounge at LGW.
I've been admitted to both clubs and envoy lounges on upgraded paid tickets and full award tickets. Moreover, they didn't bat an eye in PHL when my teenager left to shop and returned solo without even his ticket to show.
Hi folks,
here is an update, I upgraded both of my trip to First & Envoy on my trip SFO-PHL-CDG (11/21-11/28), using coupons.
On the way out, didn't have any problem using the club (PHL), even though didn't have time to stop at the Salon Bleriot arrival lounge in CDG, we got at the gate at 11:21, at 11:24 I was in a cab outside CDG and I am not kidding!
Checking in at CDG yesterday, the station manager told me that according to new rules upgrades I could not use the departing lounge anymore, but I still went to the PHL B-C lounge.
