GLBT Travelers - Gay Bali?

Hello,
I will be spending 6 days in Bali in a few weeks. 4 days will be at a resort in Ubud where I will be in relaxation and meditation mode. But I have 3 nights at the beginning to explore the fun scene on the Island. Any thoughts of where to stay and hang out for a mid 30's gay guy? Any thoughts are appreciated!

The gay area, such as it is, is found primarily in the Legian area. There are several nice hotels in nearby Seminyak, including the GHM hotel The Legian.

Dhyana Pura is the gay street in Legian/Seminyak area. There are a couple of gay bars next to each other and usually pack during weekdays. On the weekends, the crowds go to the Double six beach area and its pretty mix.

Beware of the money boys.

Very few Balinese but mainly Javanese and Sumatrian.

They are cute personable but expect Rp600 000 for keeping your company.

Not being judgemental about these services but its best to be aware.

Same thing happens for other gay-related sites.

You can get around it by Googling it and clicking on "Cached", but long story short, it's best to do your research before coming to Indonesia :)
