Goodmorning,

I can understand about check-in desk co-locating but surely IB flights must depart from the Schengen zone and BA flights will depart from the non-Schengen zone. BA uses the D-gates in the non-Schengen zone.

Are there D-gates in the Schengen zone as well?

KenJohn,

D-gates at Schiphol have 2 levels.
BA flights depart lower level, and IB flights will depart from upper level.
if i am correct gates 1-58 ar Non-Schengen and 59-87 are Schengen departure.

Bit like FRA T2. The Schengen gates are at the arrivals level whereas the non-Schengen are up one level. Same jetties just different gate arrangements.
