US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Warning - new fare codes may cause mileage posting errors

The newly arranged fare codes referred to in the "Domestic FC listed as 'Envoy' thread turn out to have a dark side.
I, too, was amused to see my next couple of domestic/Caribbean trips say I was in "envoy". Meanwhile, I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting for my mid Oct SHN-PHL trip to post (PHL-DUB on Oct 7 posted fine two days later) so I could see the wonderful impact of the double tier miles promo I was able to get into....
Finally, I called... A couple of supervisors and 15 minutes later, I learned that the new fare codes have caused "some" problems with DM postings. They manually fixed both my account and Mrs PhillyFive's (she'll make CP on all leisure travel this year !!!).
A word to all - check your trips since Oct 7 - you too may have unposted travel lost in the fine computer system of US...

CP on leisure travel is hilarious.

That happened to me and I was asking about it in another thread. They just didn't get it and finally, I got 2k instead of 4 and let it ride. But if it happens again....

That's how I do it every year.

Both Ms. rtpflyer and myself will make GP this year entirely on leisure travel. I can certainly imagine making CP if I didn't have a full-time job to get in the way of my travel plans. (Of course in retirement, I might end up driving more or combining several back-to-back weekend trips into a single circle trip.)

I've been unemployed all year and will requalify for CP shortly.
Does job hunting in europe with my family in tow count as "leisure" travel?
I make GP each year on leisure travel. Main limiting factor having the time to take off work. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
I'd barely heard of US Airways before I booked a flight to Miami from MAN in February to attend a friend's wedding. I'm now GP, with a sniff of making CP by the end of the year.
Meeting my GF at the wedding turned out to upset my travel plans for the year (She lives in LA). I'd actually sold leave days, but now I wish I had more time. Flying MAN-PHL-LAX and back for the weekends certainly bumps up the miles, although I might try back tracking over LH to make the final push from zero to CP on Leisure in under 11 months.
