Five of us are flying to Europe in July. I have enough frequentflyer miles for four to fly. So I have to buy one ticket. I am flexible on where I land--Paris, Frankfurt, Munich. Any advice on best way to get the cheapest ticket on the same flight as the others who are using frequent flyer miles?

Cheapest fares are generally to LGW and AMS, sometimes CDG. FRA and MUC usually more, FCO much more. Of course there are many exceptions.

My guess is that the decision of where to fly -and hence buy one ticket- would be dictated by which flights have availability for four award seats. Frequent flyer availability to Europe in the Summer can be pretty tight.
