Tomorrow morning (11/2/03) myself and a coworker are flying out of PHL to PHX. I've setup the trip as a mile run for myself (PHL->BOS->CLT->PHX), and requested myself and my coworker to be upgraded using my e-upgrades. I am a US3, he has no status.
When I did the web-checkin (I checked in 23 1/2 hours before departure) it showed that I was upgraded for the PHL->BOS->CLT legs of the trip but not CLT->PHX. The web-checking said that there was an issue with his ability to use the web checkin and would need to check in at a ticket counter in PHL. Is this normal when using webcheck-in and having two people on a ticket?
This isn't a problem, because I needed to check bags, and request exit row on the last segment in case we don't clear at the gate.
Since, the reservation appears to be for both of us, will it use just my check-in time for determining whether or not the upgrade clears, or will it use each of our times seperately?
