Ok, I have used these in the past both redeeming miles and bump vouchers. However, i am looking at taking a trip in december RDU-LAX-PVD-RDU Does anyone think i could get them to grant me the 3 leg trip on an award? Also, are the BUMP vouchers truly un-upgradeable or would they just be as hard as say a V class

I think stopovers are OK but not the itin you describe.

RTFCs are not upgradeable. Not sure what you mean by as hard as V class. V class is easily upgradeable domestically and not at all on transatlantics except with Ds0077s 2 hours before departure.

So if the middle leg was a regular stop over it would be ok?

The only way you will get upgraded on a RTFC is if coach is sold out. You may then get a comp upgrade if you have elite status. This has happened to me twice!
