Hi there,

Currently in my intenary I have a halt in Singapore late july. I know Singapore Airlines have a policy that you can chill at one of their Transit Hotels if your halt over is greather than 8 hours(?). Unfortunately my connecting flight is not with Singapore Airlines so that deems me ineligible

Nevertheless I would like to know what hotel this is? Where it is located? Rates?

I have read that the Ambassador Hotel is at T3 terminal and this is decent. What I am after is a stay of about 6-8hours. If possible, I would also like to drop my luggage off and also go out to downtown Singapore. Are there suitable luggage lockers available at Changi? Or is my best solution to drop my luggage off in the Transit Hotel rooms?

If anyone can help me with their general experiences and/or links for help then that would be great.

Regards

Here's a thread with some useful information:

If you want to find some more info, search in this forum using the term "transit" in the title. I noticed several other threads with information when I looked up this one for you.

Hi ANS27,

I've stayed at the Ambassador Transit Hotel several times in T3 Changi. It's plain, but nice and clean. My flights from USA usually get in early morning, so I crash there for 6 hours before checking into my room in CBD in the p.m.

- They aren't kidding about reserving 2 or 3 weeks in advance. Drop them an e-mail and they should get back with you in a day or two.

- You do not clear customs or immigration before going to this hotel. It is inside Terminal 3. Just go straight to the hotel. SQ will send your bag to lost and found and you can pick it up many hours later.

- There is a left luggage service available at Changi, but it sounds like you won't need it. Also, Changi offers early check-in for your luggage outbound way earlier than when the flight leaves. I think it's like 24 hours or something. If I have a late night flight, I often go, check my bags, get my ticket, then taxi to dinner at the Seafood Center or back in CBD.

Good flying!
