I've been to Vegas dozens of times and done most of the traditional touristy stuff. I've also done a lot of the day trips (Red Rocks, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire). For this next trip I'd like to learn about Vegas itself. Not just how the casinos grew the town, but who founded it, why they settled there, what the first industries were, how the town got laid out, etc. Are there any museums that talk about the founding of Las Vegas?

We just took the Neon Boneyard tour. Besides seeing the classic old neon signs they gave a good bit of history.of the city.
