Has the check-in process changed at NAS because of the new terminal?
On all of my previous visits, you first checked-in with your airline, then proceeded through to U.S. customs and various security inspections
Today, US Air is advising passengers to get to the airport four hours before their flight. Which only makes sense if you now go through U.S. Customs BEFORE checking in to your flight (since the US Air ticket counter does not open until 9:30, and US Air's first flight out of NAS is at 11:40).
I've called US Air to point out this discrepancy, but this issue didn't seem to bother any of the three customer service people I talked to. The reps seemed to be okay with customers just standing there for nearly two hours waiting for the ticket counter to open.
