Im guessing Im not the only one thats thinking that somebody in the marketing dept need a transplant not hair in this case

Don't remember filling in the form saying that I want to use my points if any for a medical swing by in BKK

Have Thai lost it, or is this a good move ?

It is funny, maybe it's the Asian business formula, I also get a lot for skin whiteners, teeth recontructions and checkups, maybe they know something about me I haven't been told;). My Asian c/c send similar enticements.

Im not going to claim that im a super biz person and all that, but if my house was in fire I might think about getting some water or call somebody to help, and not starting painting the walls.

I saw this offer as well and had to shake my head. Instead of some sort of bonus point promotion, they come up with this sort of rubbish.

If somebody is tipped over the edge to get a hair transplant because they suddenly get 2 nights of free accommodation, they need help.

IsNoGood, they do have some crazy ideas and they can get you to the point of throttling them, I love your "painting" analaogy, but for the last couple decades they have been the only airline offering a dozen+ flights into Australia every day from Thailand.

So for all their faults, they had one good idea as far as I am concerned. many of us have little or no choice and TG makes our connections seamless with a spot on ground service in BKK. Anyway I always enjoy their flights. Mind you, I would take the Liposuction for 30,000 anyday too, the waistline is growing:)

Agree. It's not particularly professional. By advertising these opportunities, TG is associating themselves with the provider, and I'm not sure this is wise from a brand perspective. It's also saying "hey ROP member... you need this". I can imagine some may be insulted.

Some aspects of the "medical tourism" industry are questionable with respect to costs, quality of care and integrity/qualifications of providers. Risky to promote or implicitly endorse it.

I actually did get lipo on my previously enormous beer belly, at Yanhee hospital in Bangkok. Worked awesome. Best thing I ever did. After 2 or 3 days in the hospital I stayed at the Westin on Sukhumvit at my own expense.
I flew BR. On the trip home the FA's weren't sure exactly what was wrong with me but accurately determined I was debilitated and took awesome care of me on that flight.

Haven't seen this TG promotion but I imagine it is targeted at Asian customers and suspect it will be very successful for TG. The Thai's have ways different than our own. mai pen rai.
