I'm planning a trip to India and the Maldives. It would involve 2 nights in DEL on the way to MLE and 1 night in BOM on the way home. But is there a sensible visa option for this?
A tourist visa has a rule about returning only after 2 months, and even if it helped I'm not sure we'd have a chance to get our re-entry okay'd at the MLE embassy.
A transit visa only appears to be valid for 15 days from issue. Is this ever extended. And is it valid for two entries?
It seems quite normal that someone transiting India would do so again on their return leg ... but not obviously allowed for in the visa system.
