US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Upgrading on a One-Stop Flight

View Full Version : Upgrading on a One-Stop Flight

On Sunday, two of us are flying to BOS and back. Due to the timing, our return is a 734 that is a one-stop. We are on the same record locator (dumb, I know).

ITN currently shows
BOS-CLT F9 D8 A7 G6
CLT-JAX F4 D3 A2 G1.

I was told that we are waitlisted for upgrades. I asked to be have the upgrades confirmed for the first leg and/or have the record split so that one of us can be upgraded all the way through. Two different agents declined both requests.

My questions are;
1. Any other ideas to secure these upgrades in advance since we will be rushing to the airport for the return?
2. Can we get on the waitlist early Sunday morning when we get to the airport for our outbound?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks George. Actually, my wife isn't going on this trip. She's claims to be too tired from your meeting in Montreal.

Note to all- my wife knew that Geo1005 was going to be at the meeting. She told me that they ran into each other. My response was, "In line at the bar, of course". Not too difficult to figure out.

Sorry to not being able to offer advice. Both requests seem reasonable and logical.

But am curious about how you can view up to "9" on ITN. I only get up to 7 on US.

I really miss Etour.....

On flyaow.com, if you elect the united.itn option, it will show up to F9. The amex option only goes up to F7, but allows access to seat maps.

OK - I am stumped... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif

I have tried to find my way from the flyaow.com home page to the availability and seat map info and cannot. With etour down, this info would be a big plus....

Can anyone help me out?
