South - A really bad name for a South Carolina sushi restaurant

I'm planning a trip to Charleston, and I was looking at the deals on restaurant.com.

I came across a small chain of So. Carolina Japanese restaurants. The name?

You guessed it. Tsunami.

A good reason not to name your restaurant after possible disasters.

Actually, the great Chicago fire was most likely the inspiration for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.

I think the sarcasm was missed.


Not to mention SC's own hockey team, the Hurricanes. We've had a couple of those over the years.

Miami Hurricanes, etc...

Tsunami has been here for years and is by far the worst sushi in this town. I'd stay away.

I would eat downtown around the battery. Some famous good old resturants.
