Oh, I almost forgot, it's for a non-pref member</font> ClueByFour Aug 12, 03, 10:24 pm I had a co-worker with no status on US try this exact move when web check-in was new. No dice. I'm inclined to believe that the only way to get an exit row is to have res/website assign it to an elite, or have the GA assign it. Also, at some point they have to ask you if you are exit row qualified and willing (at least once). If you have not provided this information to US at least once in the past, one would assume it would (or should) not allow you to check-in to the exit row seat. ------------------ Saving the world, one clue at a time. IndyDavid Aug 13, 03, 7:11 am When I was checking in online for FLL-DCA, I tried clicking on Exit Row seats & got a pop=up saying "Exit Row Seats can't be selected." So the I just typed the Exit Row seat numbers into the boxes & clicked Continue, and it worked. Boarding passes popped up with the Exit Row seats assigned. Moral of the story: Type the seat numbers in directly; don't click.
