Not sure if a thread exists already, but WestEast Travel (http://www.westeasttravel.com/) does really good deals on F tickets with TG (LHR-BKK route). The price after 1st April 2011 starts at £2440. This is a lot cheaper than most business class tickets on the same route. If you are connecting to domestic destinations, they can also arrange return business class tickets for additional £100 (roughly), which again is cheaper than booking economy tickets on Thai Airways website.

The key however is to ring the agent directly instead of doing this over the internet as sometimes they quote you cheaper deals over the phone.

I use their service often and always get better deals than other agents!

Does the above include tax? I used to find their headline fares misleading as tax was never included...........

Fully agree, they are very good and have the best fares but only if you phone them.

Unlike most travel agents they usually say a final figure less than they initially quoted.

They sell more tickets than any other agent in the UK and always have the best deals, like I say if you phone.

Yes the price should normally include taxes. I got myself a first class ticket departing mid April coming back in the first week of May. The entire price was approximately £2,500 including taxes and internal flights on business class (to/from Krabi). If your trip is more than 3 months away, you should definitely wait a little longer as the price normally goes down a few months before. The first class should be roughly £2500.

I am with Bmi Diamond Club and P ticket earns me triple status/destination miles....This makes it easy for me to retain the gold status!

I am not sure if you can buy flights from Paris and other destinations to BKK as I have never tried. Their website allows booking from Ireland and that might be the only other country.

You should also know that they charge a credit card fee of 2% (3% for American Express).

No, just like other tc they only sell tickets ex uk, their own country.

Try asking on the forum for tc in your country of choice.

Wow, even on line they're cheap. I made up departure and return dates in May and it comes back as GBP 2437.03, all in.

Thanks, OP and others.

...except of course if you book your business class tickets through West East! Business is roughly a third less than that :)

I'm another fan of this agent. I've found the service to be slightly haphazard, but the prices to SE Asia, not just on Thai but on many other airlines (e.g. I just bought OS tickets through them), are fantastic - better in premium classes than Lees and Emerald, which I'm finding are starting to inflate their prices slightly (not as much as Ebookers, Expedia and Opodo, but normally somewhere between the two)

You can also do stuff like mix-and-match classes - e.g. (discounted) business availability on the overnight TG910 from BKK is notoriously tricky, but they can easily mix First and Business on the same ticket
