South - Holly Springs, MS - Stay in Memphis or Oxford?

I may have to go to Holly Springs, MS for a few days for work. Apparently (and I hope someone can tell me I'm wrong) there is only a Days Inn in HS.

So, given that I will be running late every morning, which would be the easier/faster drive - staying in SE Memphis and taking I-22, or staying in Oxford and going up MS 7?

TIA

Map the route from Collierville TN to where you need to be Holly Springs. Collierville is more East than Memphis and closer to Holly Springs. There is a Marriott at the Avenue at Carriage Crossing. It's and outdoor lifestyle mall, nice for something to do in the evening (just to walk around, and get some fresh air)

Collierville to Holly Springs is not really a commute. Collierville is a "burb" of Memphis, so the commuters are going Collierville to Memphis in the AM.

I dont know what kind of commute you are used to.. Its really just secondary roads from C'ville to Holly Springs.

Hope that helps, ask anything else. I live in the area.
