US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Go Carribean / Georgetown, Guyana - what happened ?

First,
Has anyone else seen the April Carribean map in the Attache ? If my eyes and memory serve me correctly, there was a little green line between Barbados and GEO - as well as Trinidad and GEO. I hope someone can help me corroborate that.
Second,
I'm asking because I just got off the phone with International Res -- They told me that as of LAST WEEK, the entire "Go Carribean" concept has dissolved - that the parternships between US and Winair and Nevis have gone defunct - Has anyone heard information relating to this ?
The res agent actually went to get an Attache to try to see what I was telling her about, but all they had in the office were FEB issues (doh!)
Third,
Had anyone ever used awards on Winair or Nevis ? Had anyone ever PAID for a US / Winair / Nevis connection ?
Just curious - trying to figure out what happened as I was trying to use an open jaw award to stopover in Barbados and continue on to GEO -- Thus, starting this mess !

Nevis Express either folded or got into FAA trouble and could no longer serve SJU - the jumping off point.
WinAir is still a code share partner.
I have not heard about what has been the result of Caribbean Star. US needs to first file for codeshare exemption before codeshare service can begin to Star's cities.

i know EXACTLY what you're talking about! i am leaving a week from sunday (4/26) for two weeks in guyana, and i purchased my tickets a long time ago (have since downgraded when the e-saver came out -- nice big voucher i got back). the us airways trip goes to barbados, and then i pick up british west indies air (bwia, or "b-wee", a star alliance partner) for the bgi-geo leg.
anyway, while traveling with my fiancee about a month and a half ago (must have been the march issue), i noticed that the route map contained georgetown. i was obviously a little miffed that i'd missed an opportunity to log the extra miles on my us airways account, and when i got to clt (or was it pit? or phl?) i stopped in the club and asked at the desk about it. no one there had any idea you could get to guyana on us airways or any of its partners. and sure enough, when i tried to create an itinerary on usairways.com, the website generated some error message that read something like "we don't go to guyana, you dolt."
so i thought that it was ME who was the crazy one!! because the last time i flew, it was -- poof! -- gone from the attache route map. i had nearly convinced myself that i need to drink less tanqueray on my flights. thank you for reassuring me about my sanity.

I have the March issue of Attache right here and Georgetown Guyana is definitely on the route map. Two routes, actually: one to Barbados and one to Port of Spain, Trinidad. However, the route map on usairways.com does not show Georgetown as a destination (as of today).
The weird part is, usairways.com is WOEFULLY slow at removing cities on the online map that have been dropped from the US Airways network. Wichita, Des Moines and Cedar Rapids are still shown on the online map even though service to those markets was discontinued MONTHS ago! It's odd that Georgetown was removed so quickly from the online map while those other yanked cities are still proudly displayed.
Makes you go "hmmm"

OverpaidSlacker,
Thank you ! I thought I'd lost my mind. Sorry to hear about your plans getting the ditch end of the stick. When I looked yesterday while on the phone with them, I got the same thing - BWIA from Barbados on.
Quick, let's grab an April issue of Attache and buy a billoard in protest (been lurking the Delta board toooo much) ! Thanks again.

just saw this on the website:
The Dividend Miles partnership with WINAIR has been temporarily suspended effective July 1, 2003.
Flights on or before June 30, 2003 are still eligible for mileage credit.
All new award bookings have been suspended. Members already ticketed for award travel on WINAIR will still be honored. Please check future E-Statements for updates on this Dividend Miles partnership.
