They announced it a month or so ago -- but the transition is still happening. Last week I heard it should be complete by end of month.

I should have added that personally I don't mind them closing them if they don't need them. I like the Deli, but sitting by the gates is terrible. There is no club on that side and yesterday my flight was delayed 2 hours. There is nothing near the end gates to do besides just sit.
