Before I was a US employee, I was a DM memeber. A couple a months ago I purchased a couple of revenue tickets to avoid getting stranded while traveling on my days off. I also purchased a couple of revenue tickets to get to be able to get to work due high loads. When I purchased the tickets at the DFW counter, the agent told me the miles would indeed post to my DM account....well, its been about 2 months now and no miles http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I also signed up for the bonus 1000 miles for getting an e-statement instead of a paper statement and those miles never posted either http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for DM miles to post these days? Is there an email address or phone number that I can complain to? It should not take that long for miles to post...my AA and DL miles never take that long to post.

Does US only give miles credit for certain fare classes?

No you get credit for everything except for free flights (voucher or miles.) You should see the words "Dividend Miles" and your Dividend Miles number on your boarding pass. It takes 3 days for the miles to post. You can still get those miles, though. I would fill out a form on the web site with the dates and flight numbers. Better hurry though as they only go back, in theory, 3 months.

Ditto what has been said. IF you DM number was on your BPs, you should get credit. If not, fill in the web site form, wait a few days, and then call the DM service center.

To be honest, I didn't notice if my DM number was on the BP and I don't think I have my BP's anymore. I usually throw them away since they tend to pile up since I am a commuter.

Thanks for the info; I will fill out the online form.

I throw mine away when I leave the plane, often upon landing. However, the point is, the best time to check it is when you get it. You can count on your miles posting within 3 days if you see it on your boarding pass. And it's really easy to correct right then and there instead of months later.... :-]
