US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Is there a secret link to the US forum?

I look and look and look and don't see it. I see WN, DL, AA, you name it, posting in here about there airline of choice...Are we roaches (I am allowed to say we) that popular or is this the dreaded aftershock from last summers GOM bonii? Half of the posts are about US, and half are about how great these other airlines are. I'm sure they're great, but how many roaches are knocking upgradeability in the WN or DL forums. I'm not suggesting we should, though I'd be tempted to jump on the bandwagon out of frustration.
Maybe I'm just whining. I have learned a few things...$25 change fee singles us out in the typical crowd. ...PHL has an amazing tendency to lose transatlatic luggage (though I learned that on my own)...Fares vs UA for exact same flights are being skewed by the BBB gremlin that likes to consult Parker Brothers for advice...but on the most part there seems to be an inordinate amount of FFers from some other program touting different features that we don't have. Is this odd to anyone else?

I'm fairly guilty of banging Leo and the boys over in the DL forum and get trying to get them to come to the dark side. Must be working because I'm seeing more and more of those cheap little (and I mean cheap and small) PM bag tags showing up on my US flights http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I think there is stuff that deserves to be knocked (eg, the brutal anti-consumer and VFF attitude of the current crop of cronies at Fort Fumble).

I think that there is a moderate amount of posting by folks who had a bad experience on US. This is to be expected.

I think there is a certain faction of poster, usually people who would drink from Gordon Bethune's footprints if given the chance who roam about all non-CO forums and cause trouble. This is more of a childish trolling sort of problem rather than actual beefs or legitimate discussion about the airline.

I can assure you that your friendly moderation team will generally deal with the first type of post, allow the second if it is constructive or does not get out of hand, and will zap the third on sight.

I'd say that we don't have a greater or lesser share of resentment or angry posts in the US forum when compared to the rest of the major airline forums. I'd also urge folks not to intentionally raise "ire" or "issues" in other forums--this will inevitably lead to much more draconian moderation needs. We don't want that http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.

Don't forget the UA flyers who now find themselves on US half the time, by choice or not, who may be trying to be more familiar with what's going on so that they don't have to post an "I Hate US" after an experience that wasn't quite what they were used to.

I, for one, am glad to know that US will not be likely to let me stand by on an earlier flight without money changing hands (for instance). That annoys me, but it also saves me being annoyed about it /in situ/ because when I get to the airport I won't even try, or will give up quickly and gracefully.
