I had decided to re-evaluate my carriers and was considering cutting back or dropping US. But I decided not to this year partially because of cutbacks to the UA 1K program, but mainly because US provides real value to its CP flyers. Part of that is the upgrade policy but a big part of that is the dedicated staff at the CP desk. They have helped me more times than I can remember and I have not run into a group of more uniformly good customer service people at another carrier. I just called today about my double bonus and bottom line, its taken care of. It is always like that with these people, they get it done. I didnt post on the bonus mileage thread because this is about the CP people. I remember one time running through STL being bounced from carrier to carrier with the CP desk on my cell phone and I think they had the gate on another line telling them I was coming to the flight. When I got there not only did the gate people greet me by name (they were waiting for me) but had my last minute seat waiting, aisle in first no less. Good job folks, and thanks!
