CPT-JNB-HKG-MEL-AKL-MEL-BNE-MEL-SYD-JNB?

Is this routing OK - I live in Mel and like to maximise my flights out of MEL on these types of tickets and of course have to go via SYD to get back to JNB.

CPT-JNB-HKG-MEL-AKL-MEL-BNE-MEL-SYD-JNB?

Is this routing OK - I live in Mel and like to maximise my flights out of MEL on these types of tickets and of course have to go via SYD to get back to JNB.As it stands, no. Too many segments in the SWP -

Free flight segments within each continent are limited as follows:
AFRICA 4
ASIA 4
SOUTHWEST PACIFIC 4
EUROPE MIDDLE EAST 4

You have 5 in the SWP.

Solutions - buy an extra SWP segment for US$400/A$500 -

Two additional flight segments within each continent, except the continent of origin, may be
purchased. Each additional segment at a charge of:
FIRST CLASS USD550 / AUD750 / GBP350 / HKD4300 / EUR450 / JPY65000
BUSINESS CLASS USD400 / AUD500 / GBP200 / HKD3200 / EUR300 / JPY48000
ECONOMY CLASS USD150 / AUD200 / GBP75 / HKD1200 / EUR100 / JPY18000

Or revise your route, e.g. CPT-JNB-HKG-AKL-MEL-BNE-MEL-SYD-JNB.

You might also think about adding a couple of long segments in Asia if you're after QF points or SCs in the process.

I am already in MEL after HKG-MEL, I don't mind paying for the 5th segment for where I am.

I just wanted to make sure that I can come to MEL 3 times.

So all is OK - just don't want to waste my time on the phone to QF on hold for ages for them to say I DON'T THINK SO.

That 5th segment - being the short hop MEL-SYD is pretty pricey - so you can always just have a surface segment instead and buy an el cheapo red e-deal ticket

At least I think you can - the wording of the rule (4E) (http://www.oneworld.com/content/library/circle%20trip%20explorer.pdf) is a bit curious
Surface travel and use of other carriers between intermediate points along the Circle which are not operated by AY/BA/CX/IB/JC/JL/KA/LA/MA/NU/QF/RJ/S7 is permitted at the
passenger's expense,...
Does the wording mean that since the MEL-SYD segment IS operated by a OneWorld carrier (QF) that a surface segment is not allowed?

I thought of buying one on a LCC or something. As you say it is costly but I change my flight details quite often.
