Stayed there last week. At check-in I got a paper telling the advantages for PC members (In German).
A brief translation below:
PC members:
• Welcome Drink
• Free newspaper (Monday - Friday)
• Free use of Sauna and Gym
• Free shuttle service to/from the airport (I thought it was free anyway)
• Late departure till 16:00
Gold Members:
• In addition free upgrade to a double room same category
Platinum member
• in addition free upgrade to the highest category available.
I have never seen something like that before.
It avoids all kind of "begging" for upgrades etc like it is true for many other hotels of the group.
I found the hotel quite good for an airport hotel. 10 minutes by shuttle bus form the airport.
Booked an executive room, which was nice. Restaurant and bar is also quite reasonable. Friendly staff everywhere.
