California - Napa Valley Wine Train

I am considering doing the lunch wine train. (http://winetrain.com) Has anyone done it? Is it worth the money since it seems like the window is pretty dirty that you do not want to take pictures. We will be doing the Vista Dome tour.

Highly recommended; good food, good staff. The dome car is the way to go, as you get to stay in your seats for the whole trip. Otherwise, it's partly in the dining car and then in the lounge.

But generally this attraction is regarded negatively in this forum. The train doesn't stop, as the locals kept that from happening. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, why not splurge on one of them and then drive around?
