Florida - Quick question on connection flights in Miami
I Fly to miami with Virgin and arrive at 16:20, I have booked a Delta flight from Miami to Jackson(via Atlanta) the flight leaves Miami at 18:45... Is this enough time to land get my luggage and get it over to delta for my flight to Jackson?
Thanks
What would you do if we said it wasn't enough time? You've booked a separate (note NOT connection) flight for a couple of hours after arrival in the US. If you miss it you will have to shell out for a new ticket unless Delta takes pity on you
If all goes well and the flight isn't late, you don't get stuck in immigration, you don't have to wait to collect luggage, US customs decides not to take an interest in you then you have a reasonable chance of making the flight

Miami customs is painful and timely. Walking from entry to your terminal is a bit of a hike.
Good luck

So in a round about way, I've messed this up!...

bjg7, welcome to FlyerTalk! For more discussion, I'll move this to the Travel->Florida forum, as your connection is in Miami. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator, TravelBuzz.

I'm in kind of the same boat except I haven't actually booked the ticket yet!
Looking at AUA-MIA arriving 1205 then MIA-ORD 1355.
After reading a few threads on MIA customs/immigration I think I'll play it safe with a longer connection, just in case.
