Forecast for the next couple of days (!) which has potential to create havoc in the City.

Ok, so while the odds of snow in SF (at near sea-level altitudes) are low, can SFO de-ice planes if necessary?

The airport probably has very limited material. Worse than a "warm" light snow would be the sky clearing right afterward, when the air temp could drop.

Nah, normally NYC has more-than-adequate snow-removal facilities (this Winter nothwithstanding).
San Francisco, on the other hand doesn't need it, and I'm sure my flight back home to LA tomorrow won't need anything more than a ramp staffer with one of those brushes you use on your car (albeit a fairly large one :).)
(Oh, you Bay Area people and your skewed sense of geography :))

I can see those in Killarney today. Any Bay Area snow?

Twin Peaks had a little flurry at about 11PM, not much else at very low elevation.

I'm sure Mt Diablo will have plenty. I've camped in the snow up there many years ago.
