US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Non-Revs in First on tonight's CLT-DEN

I had a terrible experience tonight on Flight 129, CLT-DEN. We were on a 319. The flight started out great. The attendant in first was really on top of things. Two guys boarded and sat down in 1D and 1F. They began talking to the other flight attendant, and made it well known that they both were gate agents on a particular concourse in CLT. (They even gave the gates that they usually work) These guys were unusually obnoxious before we even pushed back. The FA served them double Jack and Cokes prior to takeoff. During the meal, they were served "multiple" drinks, all the while, getting louder, talking about their recent divorces, and using the "F" word constantly. My seatmate in 2F commented that these guys were getting pretty bad. The last straw was when the FA, realizing that these guys were completely drunk, served them yet one more drink prior to landing. They had consumed all of the Jack by themselves, then resorted to Jim Beam. Is this unusual? Do FA's usually continue to serve alcohol to visibly intoxicated persons? What disturbed me most was that these are USairways employees on a non-rev flight, using profanity constantly. Comments?

Now this is an incident that I would definately report. This shows a complete lack of respect for you and other passengers. It's fairly easy to send them an eMail.

GSO4PHILLIPS,
That is not funny, by ANY stretch of the imagination. If I were you, I would STRONGLY advise you to contact the Office of Consumer Affairs and report what happened. That f/a is breaking at least 3-4 different FAR's and those employees are not only disrespecting every pax on the flight, but putting themselves in danger and obviously breaking company protocol. Not to mention being stupid. If you fail to report this, you are essentially voicing your approval of this conduct. Call 866-523-5333 or go on usairways.com to fill out a form. Good luck and do the right thing.

I concur. As I understand it, employee travel is a privilege that can be taken away. Both the flight attendant and the non-revs should be subjected to disciplinary action.

First....I am officially employed again.....and not with US. I am now working for SECU near BWI. Those of you in Maryland may know what this is, but for the others it's the State Employees Credit Union.
Call it in ! I went to MSP back in Nov 02 to see Iowa at Minnesota and my friend on the companion pass got overly intoxicated at the game. The gate agent let us on in First with my employee upgrades ( borderline on dresscode) but once onboard, we had one drink each , but after that my friend was quietly told he was " cut off". Even though he was a little upset...I thought it was handled very well. Employees are representing the company and there are policies in place when one is traveling non rev. I can tell you in this case policy was not followed.
