US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - CEO threatens yet another entity

Dave Siegel sure loves to threaten everyone this airline deals with it seems.

Siegal's "mentor" was the founding member of the "all bluster, no brain" club, Gordo Bethune himself.

I wonder what happens when everybody but CLT and Birminham give Dave & Dave the finger. Pissing off DC--now there is a stellar move to make the politicos in a nice fat O&D market happy.....

I'm really having second thoughts about this guy.

What is this guy thinking??Just a short time ago PA offered us alot of benefits to move there offices there but siegel made some comment about moving breaking contracts.Now he wants to leave ccy because he doesnt get dca slots how nuts is he?Dca slots are coverted by every airline operating there for us to get any more would be just simply unfair.All I could see us getting is maybe 1 or 2 more slots for out of the boundry ops.
Just another stupid move by him in my view it makes him look like a kid throwing a fit...

The beautiful irony is that when this story was reported on the local (central PA) radio station today, the threat voiced by Siegel was that US would move their HQ to PIT! Talk about playing both sides!

I guess the cost structure for office leases in PIT is much better than airport leases.

Note to self: never do business with US while Dave and Dave are at the helm...
