I'm going on a solid week for a flight last Friday. Has this been "normal" of late? (I "only" have like 40k on US so far this year, and took a monthlong break)...

My flights have posted fast but somehow they forgot the LAX-CLT leg last week. I assume that because it was a redeye that pushed back late, the computer burped.

Standard posting times for me. The only thing to note is that usually if you fly on Thursday, the miles don't post until Monday. The rest should post within the 3 day standard window.

Unless you were flying UA...sometimes that proves to take a bit longer.

All 4 of my segments from this past weekend have already posted.

2 segments last friday posted on Monday and the 2 segments from Sunday posted on Wednesday.

How long should I wait for UA flights to post? I travelled on 4/4 and haven't seen the credits yet. Time to take action?

I flew "D" fares this week......didn't receive the 50% 1st class bonus. Was I entitled to it? With all of the rule changes I'm not sure.

Class of service bonus for I/D upgrade classes was dropped on February 1.

So the only class of service bonus is for a Full Y fare?

I missed this somewhere along the line.

THANKS FOR THE DATA

No the only class of service bonus is for a purchased F fare, or possibly if you upgrade with miles. My sister upgraded a roach fare PHL-LAX and got put in F and received the COS bonus.

Otherwise roach fares are upgraded to G and full fares Y/B to D (was I). No more COS bonuses for these fare classes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I'll note that I'm still waiting for flights to post from almost two weeks ago. I've even claimed them both on the web form http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif.

Flew this past weekend...

Thursday 4/17
US 986 FLL-DCA
US 2666 DCA-LGA

Sunday 4/20
UA 679 LGA-ORD
UA 110 ORD-FLL

All the miles are designated to my US account, and it was ticketed with UA. Funny thing is that my UA miles posted within 24 hours of deplaning, while my US miles from Thursday are still MIA.

An update on my lost LAX-CLT leg, they can't find me. I think it may be the middle initial added to the reservation. Gave DM center more info and I hope it gets cleared up. Everything else on that trip posted fast.

Finally called the CP desk, who got the miles credited within 24 hours. Apparently, the flights were there but with 0 miles credited for the flight.

I had upgraded at booking, and the theory goes that since it was during the whole "fare class shuffle" last month that the flights were somehow "lost."

Interesting.

Beware when on milage runs (ie. shuttle flights) and taking multiple trips in and out
of the same cities on the same day on more than one itenary, there is There is a system enhancement that
prevents flights from crediting when you fly in and our of a specific city multiple times in one day. US Airways and United must credit these flights manually to override this enhancement. Do not call United and send
them documentation for missing flights or
you will wait 60 days for nothing.
This happenned to me at end of last year
(3 BOS-LGA roundtrips on Sat. and 2 on Sun.)
Only 2 originally posted, one for each day.
After waiting 60 days as per United Reps, I
sent an email to GP who said they would post
the missing United 3x miles internally. Only
2 of 3 missing roundtrips posted in my United
account. After a 2nd email They simply told me all had posted (NOT!) and warned them they
have a software problem in a 3rd email, in which they finally found out about the "system enhancement" or "bug" by my standards.

I've noticed it's taking longer than usual to post flights too. I've never had one take longer than 3 days. So far, a trip I took this past weekend, only the second segment of the return flight has posted. They're very good, however, at deducting my e-upgrades. All of those have been deducted.

the shuttle trip i took a week ago still hasn't posted. i was on a UA ticket, flying US metal, which i suppose could slow things down... it hasn't posted to UA or US yet.

For the future reference of those searching, here is the exact reply I got to an email request to preferred CS to apply a missing UA flight to my account:

"To receive credit for your missing United Airlines flights in your Dividend
Miles account, mail or fax a copy of your ticket receipt and boarding passes to
our office. You can fax these items to 336-661-8216 or mail them to US Airways
Dividend Miles Service Center; PO Box 5; Winston-Salem, NC 27102. Please
include your Dividend Miles account number. Travel on United Airlines must be
in a valid class of service. Certain flights and code-share flights with other
airlines are invalid for credit in Dividend Miles. Credit requests for United
flights will be forwarded to United for validation. Please allow 90 days for
the credit to appear in your account."

I'm kind of curious (for those whose flights have posted normally) what is on your boarding passes? My first flight had nothing listed (although the UA agent assured me my US # was there), and my flight today had my US # but had UA in front of it. Very curious.

Very curious.</font>I think this illustrates that UA agents don't yet all know how to handle US DM numbers. I had a BWI-SJC trip in late March - the outbound legs posted within a couple of days (don't recall how the FF info appeared on the BPs for those). The return legs never appeared - the agent made the same promise that "Your numbers are in!" but they didn't print on the BPs and I never got credit. I did fax the info into the DM Service Center on Friday, so we'll see what heppens from there...

I wonder if UA FFers are having the same problems with US flights...

I have had 2 UA flights post in 24 hrs in the last 2 weeks..Much slower for US but note the e upgrades come out after 24 hrs ALWAYS..
