I have a question regarding e-upgrades. When are these deposited in the "bank"?

my understanding was that after 10,000 flight miles I would earn 8 upgrades.

I reached GP status in late October last year. Since then I have flown PIT-PHX roundtrip in thankgiving, PIT-IAD in Feb, and PIT-MUC(via PHL) in late march. this works out to nearly 15,000 miles of which there are just over 10,000 this year.
I assumed that US would automatically update my e-upgrade counter but this has not happened yet.

two possible reasons for this problem

1. does the flown miles counter reset over the new year?

2. is there an upper limit to eupgrades - currently at 48

Also who should I contact if this is not corrected - the general Dividend miles service center or the GP center
Thanks for your feedback

Hey ravidesai. I don't know if this applies to you, but the e-upgrade counter only counts up when you fly US-operated flights with (I think) US flight numbers. So if any of those flights you took were United flights, they wouldn't count toward e-upgrades.

Anyway, the Dividend Miles Service Center can look at your counter balance. Just give 'em a call. Oh, and I don't think it resets on January 1...

Call the Gold Preferred Service Center ( actually they are one and the same place ) since the number is toll free.
