They sent out an email saying due to the holidays no esavers. This is funny because the loads on the flights I would like are minimal and the price is outrageous so I am driving.

I already deleted the e-mail, but due to the Easter holiday, US is not offering e-savers again until next weekend.

this is interesting, since US Airways has typically offered E-savers over the Easter holiday in past years. i'd think this year the loads would be even lower than normal, given the obvious state of things. who knows.

Instead of a 737, I get to spend some quality time on Interstate 70 this trip...8 hours worth to be exact http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

Funny, UA and AA are offering weekend saver fares -- pretty juicy ones in UA's case, on routes that rarely get discounted.

It seems travel would be especially light on a Saturday after a Friday holiday, too.

Are there some that still aren't getting the Esavers? I'm getting other email types from US but not the Esavers. I checked my account and I'm signed up to receive everything.
