Flying HKG-ICN-JFK on KE 604 and KE 85. Both seem to be 744s, but not sure which of the 4 types of 744 it is. Seems like only Version 3 is the good one. All others seem not so great in J for a long-haul flight
Any advice would be appreciated

When are you flying? KE switches to a 77W later in the year.

ICN-JFK has the 180 flat sleeper seat in C and Kosmo Suite for F. KE has one of the best services in F. $2000 for round trip would be okay.
