iDine/Rewards Network - Does use of sites like VillageVines affect idine mileage earning?

Village Vines is a site where you can pay $10 to get 30% knocked off your bill at restaurants. Unsurprisingly, many of the restaurants needing the influx of guests are also part of the idine program. I'm just worried that it is set up in a way where you won't get any idine credit.

So, any experiences? Don't know if it's worth 30% off if I can't get a few AA miles :D

You will get whatever the final bill is, charged to your credit card. I have used several groupon's the same way.
