I was psyched to see the Feb of 2005 thing, too. Oh well...it was too good to be true. I should be real close without it anyhow.

I agree. I just received the same email. I think it is a perfectly appropriate gesture for US to allow the miles flown over 100k in 2002 to help us with re-qualification for 2004 status. Essentially, the more you flew in 2002, the more this gesture will help you.

"Comped" 2004 CP status just because you flew 101k in 2002 is too much to ask.

Hmmm. Perhaps the programmer got his if/then/else or his &lt;,&gt; backwards.

My original statement said:

My correction said:

Dear CPRich,

The April E-Statement message you received regarding the number of Preferred Miles and Segments that you flew above and beyond 100,000 miles and/or 100 segments in 2002 was incorrectly stated. You have in fact qualified for Chairman's Preferred status through February 28, 2005.

Please accept our apology for this oversight. We appreciate your business and thank you for your extraordinary loyalty to US Airways. As always, we look forward to seeing you onboard soon.
