Got a conference in April at The Wynn.
Have 4 guys who are going to the conference but also looking to have some fun in Vegas, although we're not Vegas regulars.

Never been to the Wynn before, curious if anyone has any suggestions for our stay.

Our budget is around $1500/night. I've read different options in different threads from a few years ago on FT. Wondering if things have changed at all.

Ideally we'd like to have a 2 BR suite with space to relax and drink before we hit the strip each night. Any tips from those who have stayed at The Wynn? Are the Fairway Villas really a far walk from the action? Anyone ever done a smaller suite with an attached room?

How do I secure these rooms, anything special we have to do, is it worth it or should we just get 4 King Rooms near each other?

Another possibility is staying at a hotel close enough where we could walk (read: stumble) to the Wynn each morning for business.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Unless you want to share 2 king beds among 4 people I think the better play is one suite and 3 rooms. Your conference probably has hotel rates better than Amex FHR or Virtuoso offers at The Wynn.

Thought about it already, that's a good suggestion...
Our room rate quoted to me was $199/night with our conference (which I'm assuming is pretty good at The Wynn based on rates I've seen online)
Maybe we split the cost of 3 singles and a suite, and then draw straws for who gets the nice room.

Has anyone stayed in a Parlor Suite? It seems like it could hold 4-8 people for drinks from the pics I've seen.

Any other ideas?

That is a decent rate for the Wynn right now. I have stayed there 3 or 4 times, and I have never paid more then $169/night. I was going to go for a long weekend April 7-10 and the rates are double that. I will go another time because the rates are so high for some reason.

I have looked for a promo code and even spoke to a travel agent and neither could get the rate down. Their must be a huge conference in town that weekend.

When is the conference...? Hard to tell if that is a good rate or not without dates. Parlor Suite is great, but they are all in the Towers section AFAIK, which could mean access problems for the rest of the group.

Good point about access in the hotel. Conference is mid-April, we'll be at the Wynn Apr 13-17. Rates range those dates from $220-300/night on the website.

Looking at the Wynn standard Deluxe rooms, they all have pretty decent space and they all have a couch, with a few chairs. We can get adjoining rooms if we really need to expand our space.

Doing the math.. getting 4 individual rooms is probably best. The extra $400 saved per night can be used at the casinos, for bottle service, or whatever... it's Vegas, I'm sure we'll find a place to spend the "saved" $$.

That's a decent rate, factoring in the usual vegas weekend up tick.

You might want to look into Amex FHR or Virtuoso that will bring the Website rate down 10%, but will include resort credits worth more than the extra costs
Possible upgrades too, but only to Wynn rooms with better views

Virtuoso's current off is 50$ Resort Credit + 60$ daily in breakfast

Thanks, I'll check out those options and find out what works best.
