Looks like Preflight Parking @ BOS no longer offers a 25% discount when you pre-pay a reservation.

Pre-paid reservations are now being charged the full rate ($18 per day or $108 per week).

The best deal is now achieved using the 15% off coupon and not doing the pre-paid reservation.

Just an FYI.

I just used Pre-Flight on Saturday and noticed the same thing. I called them on Friday to ask why I couldn't get the normal 20% off for pre-paid reservation. The guy said that they don't have that promo during February due to the increased demand of school vacation period. He seemed to indicate that it would come back in March.

I keep a stack of 15% off Pre-Flight coupons in my car anyway, just in case I don't have time to print one before the flight or if I don't pre-pay. It's a "loss" of $.90, but PFP is still cheaper and pretty convenient in my book. :)

They also have a "frequent parker program." Among other things, their Web site says it gives you an award day for every five paid days.

Does anyone know:

- Can you get FP points along with the discount? In effect, that would bring the discount to nearly 30 percent.

- Can you apply award days you earn in a stay to that same stay? For instance, stay for six days and pay for five of them?

Correct. The 25% discount for pre-paid has returned!

Yes. You earn 1 point for every dollar you pay. If you get a discount, your points earned is based on the dollar value you pay after discount.

Example, full price for 1 day is $18. That would earn you 18 points if you paid full price.

If you use the 20% off coupon, the price drops to $14.40. That would earn you 14 points.

- Can you apply award days you earn in a stay to that same stay? For instance, stay for six days and pay for five of them?

Yes you can. When you redeem awards, you pick the number of days you want it to be valid for. Then you print out the award voucher.

Let's say you park 6 days. You can redeem an award for one day. Then upon exit, you'll be charged for the remaining 5 days.

However. in your scenario above, it is best to just go with the weekly rate of $108.

Don't forget that you must present your frequent parker card when you pay (at the exit window). If you pre-pay the reservation, you can add your card number to the reservation. Then you don't have to present the card. The same card works at any of the sites also. I've used mine in PVD and PHX before.
