Having just flow to Vegas and back, I've now got 24,936 dm. Thus, getting these 500 miles will put me over the top for an award. Hopefully customer service will come through. tls

Well, it took some time, but I eventually did get the 500 miles, pushing me over the 25,000 mile mark, and allowing me to book another award ticket. I ended up calling Customer Service, and the rep told me that altho he didn't see my name as one of those targeted, he'd give me 500 points as an inconvenience award. I don't remember if I was targeted or not, but I thought it was a pretty classy move on their part, as these 500 miles made the difference for me.
