How many Elevate points does it generally take to upgrade from the lowest fare (Economy Non-refundable) to First Class from SEA to LAX? I don't see anywhere on the website on how to upgrade my seats with points.

You cannot upgrade with points.

You cannot upgrade with points.

Not even by calling them? Crappy.

Well from a Founding Member of Elevate - this is probably one of the things most Elevate members would not mind seeing soon :p

Just curious, would others here recommend buying up from Y to MCS or F on SEA-LAX or SEA-SFO? I know this varies for each individual, but maybe based on your relative VX upgrades, is this one you would normally put money down for?

Thank you!

I wouldn't usually bother for SEA-SFO, flight is too short not really worth it. If it was a Friday night or something and I was buggered after a long day well then maybe.

For SEA-SFO, it's $35 to upgrade to MCS, and checking a bag costs $25, so it really only costs $10 for the boarding priority, legroom, and free food and drink (if you've got a checked bag).
