US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - CP - Extra Preferred Miles from 2002

Last October I received an e-mail from Dividend Miles stating that I would receive credit in 2003 for all the preferred miles over 100,000 that I earned in 2002. So far, the credit has not been posted to my account. Has anyone received their extra preferred miles?

None yet in my account (over 30,000). When they did it last year, it was later in the month of March.

Hmph, if only this would work for us poor schlubs in lower groups. (Requalified for Silver w/ about 40,000 miles. It'd be nice if those 15K "extra" miles went for requalifying for Silver this year http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif )

GregLeg - you should e-mail the Dividend Miles Center. My friend had 42,000 miles and asked to keep her Gold status. They made her a deal - she can stay Gold if she flies 10,000 preferred miles by March 31.

Probably a stupid question, but, the carryover of "preferred miles" does it ONLY hit that bucket or does your "total" bank go up as well? I doubt it, but I thought I might ask.

The "extra" miles only hit the Preferred bucket-doesn't affect overall mileage flown for 2003.

Spoke to CP agent tonight and he mentioned they had a glitch in the program and will be "running the tape" to bring all the carryover miles up to date - probably within the next two weeks.
