South America - House Rental for 20 people

I am looking to rent a villa for a Music Week with maximum 20 people, somewhere in Chile, Argentina or Uruguay. We have rented such villas over the past 10 years in Tuscany (Italy), Barcelona area (Spain) and Loire (France). The house does not need to be directly in a city, but should be within an hour of a good-sized city.

Villa rentals in Uruguay are mostly done through real estate/rental companies - easy to find when you google - e.g. Punta Rentals - but one week rental are not that common.

You could also consider staying at an estancia (ranch) - many are small enough that you rent the whole place. Being within 1.5 hours from montevideo should not be too difficult.

Have you tried vrbo? You could also try the tourist office (though they tend not to know very little if anything in uruguay).
