US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - How are the US moderators doing? Let us know.

Well, we've been "moderating" the US board for a little while now and I personally wanted to see what everyone thinks.
Unlike other forums, we haven't found the need to close many threads or the like! Go us.
Let us know how you think we've been doing. Also give us suggestions about what you'd like to see us do! Leave comments about US mods only - and remember - we can't change bulletin board code, sorry!
Thanks,
Chris

The only good moderator is a dead moderator <grin>
But all that being said, since moderation is low-key, it's been ok!

The mark of a good referee/umpire is if you don't notice them.........
Moderators? Do we have them?

It's controversial, rabble-rousing posts like this that cause Randy to bring in moderators http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif.

I think at least two of the moderators have done an outstanding job. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

seriously, the less moderation the better. So, I guess you're all doing a good job!

I'm still trying to understand the purpose. The last time I confronted the term was in grade school, and it had to do with crossing the street. Surely the owners of the site are big boys and girls, and can close an offensive thread if they have to. Is there no level of self expression in this society today that can operate beyond the reach of political correctness?

No offense to the moderators, but seems like a cushy job with not much work to do ;-)
Did we need moderators or was Randy just getting moderators for most forums?
While we're talking, someone needs to moderate that crazy Finnair board.
