US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - What happened to Skip Middleton?

I've seen him on here. But was I the only one to notice that he was in USA Today after some of his comments on FT? The article was a day or two after the crazy changes were announced...

I think I know the gentleman to whom you refer, and I'm happy to sya, reports of his untimely demise are greatly exaggerated... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Though surprised anyone would notice, my thoughts were to pay little attention to the board until Dave fires Ben and his group of consultants and starts applying a little common sense. Hope he notices NW not jumping into the standby fray...
My guess on their thinking is this standby nonsense fills up completely the earlier planes and the extra $50 a head. As for me, I'll save the $50 and fly the late flights. Seems silly to cut loose a plane with 50% capacity. Anyway point is until something breaks loose there's very little news to discuss. Appreciate the curiousity though Doc! My own wife doesn't notice when I shut up for a while!

Skip--I figured you got a big head when you recieved national exposure in a major publication and found it hard to come back to the message board minor leagues. ;-)

He must be happy with the recent changes that US Airways made to the FF program and feels no need to post anymore. I'm sure that is it.

I once saw on the internet where a frequent poster suddenly stopped. A few weeks later, his friend informed the board that the man died in a car accident. I have no reason to believe it was a hoax. It was sad even though I only read the guy's posts. Most of the time, I presume the person becomes too busy or loses interest and stops posting.

I havebn't been here since September, burnt most of my miles trying to put some moolah in my pocket, quit my weekly flying as I moved my company from BOS to RSW, and now no FL ain't the place where the middletons are going to retire. So, in anticpation of flights for interviewin and the like, thought I'd poke my head in and see what 6 months does for the changes. Looks like the bonuses getting back to reality as headed into BK they needed us as much as possible but headed out of re-org they don't need to show x number of frequent fliers. How does everybody like the United code share? What's up everybody? How goes the battle?? Signed- An old friend (who by the way is looking for an operations job in the NorthEast or anywhere NC and up)
