In theory, yes, but will wait to see how it works in practice. I tried to do a few dummy bookings ex YQR to the US to see if I could get any WS flights to come up but to no avail. Perhaps this is due to Delta flying out of here to MSP, but there are probably a few routes where flying through YYC/YEG would offer up some better options, especially for the west coast.

I tried YQR, and then YMM (thinking Delta didn't already serve there) but nothing. Might take a few days for it to work.

My guess is that if you tried to book an interline ticket on either airline's website that you would be unsuccessful. Remember, this is an interline agreement, not a codeshare agreement.

You would probably need to book through a 3rd party website to get this to work. That being said, I tried YMM-MSP on expedia and nothing came up yet.

... clearly step 1 towards a more complete codeshare agreement as per KL model.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to book a WS-DL ticket? I haven't had any success with Expedia or through other means.

Try Delta Reservations by phone? Only suggestion I can think of.

... was talking to a WS ticket agent moments ago. He had just finished training on the DL system. Codesharing with DL to be announced soon (including apparently ability to earn DL EQM on WS metal).

Definitely good..

Now if Westjet can get a better points system and a decent network to compete with AC..

I like this move with WS.. brings another choice where choice is slim..

Perhaps WS can get an FFP worth earning for..:)
