US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Has anyone got a SWU expiration date extended?

I have a pair of SWU's expiring on 1/31. Has anyone got these extended? If not, I would just send them in for the mileage upgrade credit. I would like to take another Europe trip next month & don't relish sitting in coach over the pond.

I didn't get one 'extended' exactly, but I have presented an expired SWU and had it taken by the ticketing agents. I did have my 'good' SWU with me that I was prepared to use, but figured I'd give the expired one a shot. Worked outbound but not back.

A 'nicely worded' note to Consumer Affairs may extend for a month or two. I have extended CS007's and SWU's, though the temperature may have changed as things shrivel a bit.

Just to add to your confusion - I'm told that an SWU can be turned in for 500 miles, but it still can (until 1/31) be turned it for 4 e-upgrades, which equals 2000 miles.
Just something else to add to the mix.

Last year when I was a GP, they extended a DMUPSYS2 by 1 week. The DMSC put a note on my record saying I would be using an expired SWU.
well, i've had dmupsys's extended by 3 months once. but that was 3 years ago. i have no confidence they'd do this now.

I have 4 of the all powerful CS0007 coupons that are ready to expire. I have heard that you can have these re-issued for one more year. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks,

I know someone who just asked a few weeks ago to have 4 DMUPSYS certs expiring 1/31 to last until a trip in mid-March.
He was told this is not generally done, but exceptions can be made. It helped that this person was a CP, and was buying an additional ticket for family to go on trip with him.

Hey, I know that person!
Unfortunately, I also know another person with two that was told "sorry, no can do". Of course, he was a Silver who would be flying by himself to LAX in Feb...

Last year, my SWU arrived delayed. The envelope was ripped and soiled. The post office had a note saying sorry. I might have received it in April. They extended the expiration until 5/31/04

If not, I'll meet you at HIA on a date of your choosing to take them off your hands http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.

Clarification from the C.P. desk: CS0007's are the only voucher types that are allowed to be extended (unlimited even though the voucher reads (from one year of issue). For future reference, this info is located in the upper section of the travel voucher extension policy that the agents view/read.
So sorry ClueByFour, I know I should be nice to moderators and all, but points is points and pre-confirmed upgrades on Cockroach fares are not to be trifled with!!!

Do CS007 upgrades still exist? I was on an FC award ticket last night and got voluntarily bumped. Besides the RT voucher, the GA gave a me a couple of customer service upgrades which she deposited into my e-upgrades account. They show up in my account as two regular e-upgrades -- thought the certifcates she gave me don't say that they are good for only 500 miles.
I recall reading somewhere that for California residents, certs do not have an expiration date. Does it apply to SWUs?
