I'm sorry if this is a double post but I just came across it myself. If you fly between February 1st and April 30th, Dividend Miles members will earn triple miles for first class, Envoy class and select coach fares (F, A, J, P, C, Y, B, M and U classes)and double miles for other coach fares on US Airways flights.
I just registered for it myself, here is the link: http://www.usairways.com/dm/5757

This is targeted. Let's not start this again. It got us into trouble before.

CMK10 - thanks for the post and sharing with everyone.
Unfortunately, US declared war on us last year and threatened to delete accounts of those who used "exclusive" bonus codes that they had not been "targeted" for. Just as an FYI.

I found out about it from a SmarterLiving.com newsletter:
2. Systemwide sale on U.S., European, Caribbean flights from $68 R/T*
Book tickets by January 31; see below for double miles on all US Airways flights
If its posted in smarterliving it can't be traced. Obviously smarterliving does not share subscriber info with usairways. I'm with LGA, I'm going for it...signing up the whole family.

Sorry I didn't read the targeted small print guys. I'm used to AA bonuses where its untargeted.

I learned about this promotion from the Frequent Flier Crier and Smarter Living. Can anyone say if e-savers will qualify for this bonus? I've asked about the kiosk bonus on e-savers, and haven't had a reply. I'd like to take an e-saver to PHL next time it's offered and I can use it, and the flights will bring me within 500 miles of the award level I want. I'd like to know if I can count on a bonus one way or another, so I can reach this award level without staying at a 500-mile hotel.

This offer is also listed in the USA Today Travel section. I called the CP desk and was told that I was already signed up, but the CSR seemed to be a little confused.
I think the ever present cash flow problems are dictating moves such as these.

Guess we're all "addressees"! After all, someone left the USA Today at my hotel room door....

All you have to do is call... I called and registered everyone in my family. I spoke with a reservation agent and it took her about 5 minutes.
I looks like it might have been a "for addressee only" but somebody spoke the wrong word to a reporter down at US Marketing.
The nice part is it considers M class tickets as the type qualifying for triple miles.

I just called the CP desk and was told this is targeted and I'm not on the list. Can you post a link to the USA Today article? I can't seem to find it on their website. TIA!

I just registered and had no problem. I received a "Thank you for registering online" message at the end. Since my EWR-CLT flights are always in a full fare class, I'm glad I saw this http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Sorry guys - check the correction on the Smarter Living site (http://www.smarterliving.com/ff/search/bonussearch.php?airline=US+Airways)
"Correction: US Airways triple or double miles promotion
Expires: April 30, 2003
Description: A previously published report of an offer to earn triple or double US Airways Dividend Miles, depending on fare class, did not contain important restriction information that this promotion was intended only for select members of the US Airways loyalty program. If you did not receive the original e-mail directly from US Airways about the promotion, you will not be eligible for the bonus miles. If you signed up for the promotion online at the US Airways website by following a link published in Smarter Living or elsewhere, and then saw a page confirming your registration, you still need to confirm that you qualify for the triple or double miles. A US Airways spokesman explained, the airline site does not have the capacity to distinguish eligible from ineligible applicants at that point in the process.
If you have registered at the US Airways website, you can confirm whether you have actually qualified or not by e-mailing the program's customer service at DividendMiles@USAirways.com. Be sure to include your Dividend Miles account number. Or, you can call the registration line at 800-428-4322. Smarter Living regrets the error and apologizes for any confusion resulting from our report. For other US Airways Dividend Miles bonus offers that are available to all members, please visit our US Airways bonus miles search results."

Is anyone calling in?
I'm not going to this time and see what happens. At this point I've signed up for just this bonus and the Europe 10k bonus.

I wouldn't sweat it ... it looks like US has fixed their systems lately to do this automatically ... I certainly wouldn't recommend calling up and trying to un-register ...

It sounds like US is saying "if you registered but didn't qualify, then don't be surprised when the miles don't show up." Not, "if you signed up, we want to you call and unregister." The contact info is given for those who want to confirm whether or not they qualify for the bonus. That's my take on it.

You could shop at Dividend Miles Shopping (http://www.dividendmilesshopping.com/english/index_eng.asp). I got miles posted for gift certificates purchased from VitaminShoppe.com. I would eventually spend the cash at the Vitamin Shoppe anyway, so I got a jump on the miles.
