I didn't ask for blackout dates, I'm CP anyway. There are no seats allocated even though the schedule is open and tickets are being sold for 20Dec03.

Spence- are you saying there are no AWARD seats available? You just said 'for FF' which could be interpret as 'I am an elite' or 'for mileage redemption'.

Anyway - had similar problem this year for ticket for my sister from PHX-PIT. Eight months out, only 1 seat had been allocated for award, and she was in it. Even funnier - until July, she was the only one on the entire flight (a 320 I think). Kept trying to get another one opened for her husband..

I just had this vision of my sister being the only one on the flight. If you knew my sister, you'd know why noone else was buying tickets on the same flight ;-)

The real answer is they're allocated all the time ... there's no telling when they'll be allocated ...
