Hi,

I have not flown US in 8yrs. I have 15,000 miles that I have forgotten about until recently.
Short of making a flight to get the balance up to 25k are there any hotel, partner or loyalty programs out there where I can exchange/convert my miles? I also have no interest in magazines or milepoint.

Thank you in advance

One option is to take advantage of the E statement specials. It's 15,000 miles for a Y class ticket. Not a bad deal if you ask me. The cities change monthly.

Sign up for e-statements and e-savers, for 500 miles each. Sign up for i-dine, where dining dollars are converted to US miles 10:1. Build your balance to 20,000 miles for an off-peak award.

Transfer in miles from American Express Membership Rewards to get to 20K for off peak award.

You can upgrade select coach fares to select markets.

Your options for general award redemption, as well as upgrades, increase if you had a way of topping off the account to 20K. You can transfer from Starwood, AMEX MR, etc. (if you have them)
